For some strange reason, Christians have this fixation with the idea that the source of morality is God. The problem with this idea is that not everyone has the same morals, and even if we did, what logical connection is there between that observation and the existence of God? This is simply ridiculous. If I'm not mistaken, part of the Christian God's morality system is belief in his existence. Well, if the Christian God exists and I'm supposed to have obtained my morals from him, then why do I not believe in him? Well? Moving right along... In some churches, you have homophobes like John Hagee and his son Matthew Hagee preaching against gay marriage, using the Bible as the sole basis for their reasoning. I am, however, completely against this limitation of rights of an entire group of people. Explain and justify this difference in our morality, if we get our morals from God. There are many more examples I could provide to prove my point, but why should I, when all I need to disprove something is one counter-example?
The idea that our morals prove God's existence is inherently insane. Morality isn't consistent, so how can you use it to prove the existence of God? It astonishes me how so many people can make an attempt at thinking critically and then fail so hard at doing it.
Morality is objective, not subjective. Stop using it, Christians.

I associate all forms of marriage with abuse, cheating, bad habits, poor health and hygiene. So yeah, no matter the orientation of the married trophy couple, they will start to have their looks wither, act more bitter towards one another, and things just go downhill.

Marriage creates misery, not love, no matter if you are gay or straight.
